About Adam-Josef-Cüppers Vocational College

new school building, constructed in 2005 The College was founded in 1892 by Adam Josef Cüppers, headmaster, school reformer and honorary citizen of Ratingen.

Under the leadership of Dr. van den Kerkhoff the College has expanded significantly. It has become renowned in the region for providing a highly-qualified education in many different fields. Several educational programs have been implemented since Dr. van den Kerkhoff became headmaster in 2005.

Today the College offers 20 different degrees and qualifications for students in various educational programs, preparing them for professions or university entrance. About 90 teachers seek to qualify students for their working life.

School buildings were expanded in 2005, providing space for the growing number of students. A cafeteria for students and staff was added as well as several multimedia classrooms. We believe that modern teaching requires up-to-date equipment as well as an inspiring learning atmosphere. Starting in April 2007, the original buildings are being thoroughly modernized.
